VIEW OF RACISM FROM THE GENERALS AND CIVIL LEADERS IN INDONESIA: GENERAL ALI MURTOPO, GENERAL M.H. HENDROPRIYONO, GENERAL BINSAR LUHUT PANJAITAN AND AMBRONCIUS I.M. NABABAN

The Indonesian people in general have a noble conscience. The people are friendly and have a high respect of human dignity and equality and want peace and harmony in the life of all of God’s creation. For example: Indonesia’s Great Leader, Abdurrahman Wahid (Gur Dur) represented the values of this culture of nobility and conscience to the world, Indonesia and more specifically the people and nation of West Papua. Gus Dur is a real symbol of the life of the Indonesian people.
But, unfortunately, the facts and realities of today, which destroy the nobility of conscience and the love for peace and harmony of the majority of the Indonesian people, are visible and proven by the arrogant, evil, corrupt, lying, greedy, thieves and murderous rulers who have been hiding and taking refuge behind the jargon of security and national interests. the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia and who delightfully create myths about the indigenous Papuans as separatists, treasonous, OPM and the new myth of KKB (criminal armed groups).
The authorities intentionally create or produce myths: separatists, traitors, OPM, KKB, with the aim that their business efforts and theft of natural resources in Papua would run smoothly without interference and obstacles from indigenous Papuans.
The rulers, businessmen and Indonesian Malay generals work hand in hand, and support each other to exaggerate the myths of separatists, treason, OPM, and KKB as a tactic to provoke all Indonesians to support the destruction and annihilation of indigenous Papuans.
I have experience with a teacher at Tiom State Elementary School (now Lanny Jaya District) in a remote area far from the city in the 1970s. My teacher was called Suyanto. To this day, we still maintain a harmonious relationship between the giver of knowledge and the recipient of knowledge. As fellow human beings, we respect the dignity of humanity without being hindered by the faith of the teacher as a follower of Islam and me as a Christian. We are both friends because we are both human beings who were created by God in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26).
From my conscience I have always believed that all human beings are good but usually what damages our behaviour is our bad environment, news from media which is controlled by the authorities and the influence of the rulers who are greedy, evil, liars, thieves, destructive killers who are breaking apart the Pancasila, UUD 1945, Unity in Diversity and the United State of the Republic of Indonesia.
The rulers and generals who are mostly leaders with a paranoid and hypocritical spirit or character have always damaged and destroyed the conscience of the Indonesian people. Social disintegration is taking place which leads to the potential for national disintegration.
Some examples of generals and civilians with barbaric, criminal and racist characteristics are as follows:
1 General Abdul Mahmud Hendropriono
On June 6, 2021 he admitted that when he was at Seskoad, he proposed:
“We can move 2 million inhabitants of Irian Jaya to Manado. On the other hand, people in Manado can be moved to Papua.”
2 General Ali Murtopo
“If you want independence, you should ask God if he can be kind enough to raise an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean so that you can migrate there. Can also write to an the Americans. They’ve set foot on the moon, maybe they’ll be willing to fix upa place for you there. Those of you who are thinking of voting against Indonesia must think again, for if you do, the wrath of the Indonesian people will be on you. Your accursed tongues will be cut out and your evil mouths ripped open. Then I, General Ali Murtopo, will step in and shoot you on the spot “(Source: SEE NO EVIL: New Zealand’s Betrayal of the people of West Papua: Maire Leadbeater: 2018: 154)
- General Binsar Luhut Panjaitan
Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan responded to the issue of the emergence of the United Liberation Movement for West Papua (ULMWP) or the Papua Liberation Movement. The movement focused its actions on joining the Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG). “Yes, just go to MSG there, don’t live in Indonesia anymore.”

- Ambroncius Nababan:
“Edodoeee friend. Your vaccine is not a synovac friend, but your brother said it was rabies vaccine. I agree friend. On the picture of pak Natalis Pigai it is written:
“DRUN YOK WE BUY VACUINE FOR COVID19 FROM OVERSEAS.THE GOVERNMENTs ONES ARE SUSPICIOUS.”
On a picture of a Gorilla / Monkey it is written:
“OUR VACCINE IS NOT SINOVAC/ PFIZER. OUR VACCINE IS A RABIES VACCINE.”
It can be seen from the racism movement carried out by the Generals collectively in Indonesia, this is more evil and dangerous for the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia than the separatist movement in West Papua. Because, RACISM is the enemy of Allah and the enemy of all mankind. In particular, insulting Natalis Pigai is an affront to the human dignity of all indigenous Papuans and black nations around the world and also an insult to the dignity of all human beings on this planet. The Indonesian authorities are nurturing and protecting racists who support separatism and dirty-minded criminal groups (kkb) in the centres of power.
This racism movement shows the crimes of the State in a systematic, structured, institutionalized, massive and collective manner in the context of the process of eliminating ethnic Papuans. Hermanus (Herman) Wayoi correctly said:
“The Indonesian government is only trying to control this area, then plans to eradicate Melanesian ethnicities and replace them with ethnic Malays from Indonesia. This has been proven by the bringing in of thousands of transmigrants from outside the region to inhabit the fertile valleys of the Land of Papua. Two types of operations, namely Military Operations and Transmigration Operations, show unquestionable indications of the intent and purpose of eliminating the Melanesian Race in this land.” (Source: Ethnic Melanesian Extermination: Breaking the Silence of the History of Violence in West Papua: Yoman, 2007, p. 143 ). Judging from the facts and the racism movements of the Generals and Indonesian civilians that have been implemented systematically, massively and collectively, it is clear that the people and nation of West Papua have no future in the big house called Indonesia. There have been military operations, transmigration operations, operations to expand districts and provinces to exterminate the people and nation of West Papua from their ancestral lands. These are crimes against humanity that has exceeded the boundaries respecting the dignity of humanity due to gross human rights violations over time from May 1, 1963 to the present year 2021, and will continue until indigenous Papuans are completely destroyed.
Although there have been state atrocities and crimes that are frightening and very concerning, we, the people of West Papua, have HOPE for a better future, peace and harmony on our ancestral land and to be friends with all nations in the world who love peace, fight for justice, equality and respect for human dignity, and together we will fight against racist generals and civilians.
